The Greveningedijk is idyllically situated and has a rich history, it exists since ca 1170 and crosses the Cantelmolinie.
In 1604, the Fort Sint-Donaas was built to control the shipping from Sluis to Bruges. In 1622 Fort Isabella was built and in 1632 both forts were linked by a defence line. This Line of Fontaine consisted of a rampart with a moat, which was equipped with seven redoubts and several redoubts. In 1640, the line was repaired and strengthened by Don Andreas de Cantelmo. It was now called the Cantelmo Line.
Nowadays, it borders the Sint-Donaaspolder nature reserve and is managed by Natuurpunt.

Plans have been drawn up for this renovation project whereby you can combine living and working!
The plans show you a totally renovated farmhouse with a facade width of 29 metres, partly thatched and partly tiled, and equipped with 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms.
You enter the farmhouse through the first entrance from where you can reach the bright living room with open kitchen through the glass double door. The rear façade has large windows, which provide a lot of light and a beautiful view of the yard and the scenery. A second entrance gives access to a separate living area and a spacious bedroom with adjoining bathroom.
This offers you the possibility to live in a way that is adaptable for life, or to see this as co-housing or kangaroo housing.
